While the current culture wars have turned diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policy into a political punching bag, most business leaders understand that they take good for business. In the more conservative VC market, however, the discussion focuses more on the financial aspects than how to build a conscious culture.
However, younger generations are bringing updated values and DEI expectations into the workplace, which means tech startups cannot afford to ignore the evolution of their company culture.
This is an important question for startup success, and we’re excited to tell you that Paradigm co-founder and CEO Joelle Emerson will join us for a fireside chat on the Builders Stage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2023, September 19-21 in San Francisco.
Paradigm’s data-driven DEI software tool puts companies at the center of this conversation, and Emerson is known for his views on corporate culture. We look forward to hearing how the savviest startups are ditching old, ahem, paradigms in the rear-view mirror and building for the future — despite political notions of inclusivity.
