How to Apply to Speak at TechCrunch Disrupt 2023
When applying, you will choose one of the following two formats and submit a title and description of your topic:
- Breakout sessions: A 30-minute presentation led by up to two people (including the moderator), followed by a 20-minute Q&A session with up to 100 attendees. You will be able to display presentations and have limited AV capabilities. You will demonstrate a breakthrough during Disrupt.
- Round table discussion: One person can conduct a 30-minute interactive conversation for up to 25 attendees. No demos or AV – all natural dialogue. During Disrupt, you may repeat this roundtable twice.
TechCrunch reviews each application and selects the finalists who will participate in an audience choice vote. We’ll post the topics, descriptions, and speakers online, and then TechCrunch readers will vote on which sessions they want to see at the event. The person with the most votes will be broadcast live on Disrupt.

- Shortlisted notice: April 27
- Audience Choice Vote: May 1-12
- Winner Notification: May 15
