Paraguay: The Central Bank of Paraguay announced on October 5 that it will introduce a new banknote series starting in 2023.
BCP said the move will help fight counterfeiting and introduce more up-to-date security features. The new series will also standardize the format of the banknotes, as the country’s existing banknotes are a combination of different issues designed over decades.
