Central Africa: The Bank of Central African States (BEAC) will issue a new series of banknotes on December 15. This is the first release since 2002.
The 2022 release will reportedly cover, for the first time, all four official languages of the Central African Monetary Zone: French, Spanish, English and Arabic.
The edition will run in conjunction with a program of events commemorating BEAC’s 50th anniversaryday Anniversary celebrations will be held in N’Djamena, the capital of Chad.
