credit currency is pleased to announce the release of Incentivized Public Testnet, enhanced by participation rewards and bug bounties. Users can now join the testnet as validators or nominators and take an active role in this game-changing upgrade, while earning generous rewards along the way.
The upgrade aims to transform the world’s leading Real World Asset (RWA) credit network from Proof-of-Work to Nominated Proof-of-Stake (NPoS). The testnet phase will allow for stress testing the network and addressing any potential issues before the mainnet is fully launched.
Participants can be rewarded with up to 400,000 mainnet CTC and enjoy a significant head start ahead of the official launch of mainnet Creditcoin 2.0+. Additionally, there is a bug bounty reward program of up to $1,000 per bug found and reported, depending on severity.
In the Creditcoin 2.0+ testnet, users can participate in network staking as verifiers, run nodes and verify blocks, or support honest verifiers as nominators. Each role has its own set of rewards: up to 2,000 CTC mainnet tokens for validators and up to 100 CTC mainnet tokens for nominators. The more you help, the more rewards you get.
you can start using By registering an account on the Creditcoin Community Forum and setting up a Polkadot.js wallet (the only compatible wallet for our testnet). Once you have decided on your role, familiarize yourself with the staking process through the documentation for validators and nominators.
After setting up the wallet, Request Testnet Tokens join. Validators will receive 15,000 testnet CTC tokens and nominators will receive 1,000 testnet CTC tokens. Note that these testnet tokens have no value other than participation in the testnet.
Nominators can submit bug reports via the form, and validators can submit bug reports via Huntr.dev. Each reported bug has a chance to earn a reward ranging from $10-$99 for minor bugs, $100-$499 for medium bugs, and $500-$1,000 for major bugs.
