Belize: The Belize government has started talks with the central bank to replace Queen Elizabeth II on some banknotes.
Belize Prime Minister John Briceño said the government will issue new banknotes featuring prominent Belizean political figures during October and November.
but in a review of the newspaper old, Central Bank Governor Karim Michael said no launch date had been set. “October is not a release date. There has to be a lot of planning in advance,” says Michael.
