Many so-called “off-road” e-scooters are essentially just road machines with knobby tires. The Arrow is definitely different, with 29-inch wheels, heavy-duty suspension and a whopping 3,000-watt rear hub motor.

The Arrow, currently shown at Eurobike in Germany, is made by Belgian mobility startup Ampyre.

It is available in road and off-road versions with top speeds of 25 km/h and 60 km/h (16 mph) and 37 mph (37 mph) respectively. The car’s Crystalyte motor is powered by a removable 60V/30Ah lithium-ion battery, with a reported range of up to 80km (50 miles) for Road Legal models and 50km for Road Legal models after a 2.5-hour charge (31 miles). miles) off-road.

Both versions have a claimed weight of 42 kg (93 lbs) and feature a 7075 aerospace aluminum frame.
